Safe Haven Helpline

The PA Safe Haven Law gives parents a safe, legal alternative to abandoning their babies.

Mothers are safe from prosecution and babies are granted free medical care and a loving family under this law. Up to 28 days after birth, the baby may be left at a hospital, police station or EMS station in a bassinet.
